You Walk in the Door
My first task as a therapist is to establish trust with my clients. Once we have a solid foundation, we can work together to discover better ways of dealing with life. Trust is the heart of therapeutic transformation. I listen with compassion, honesty, and presence so you can share openly and feel truly seen.
Types Of Therapy Treatment I Use
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): This approach helps you identify and change thought patterns that lead to emotional distress and unhelpful behavior. It’s practical, focused, and often very effective for issues like anxiety, depression, and trauma.
Psychodynamic Therapy: This approach explores your unconscious patterns and how your past experiences shape current relationships and behaviors. It’s useful for understanding long-standing emotional struggles and gaining insight into who you are.
Existential Therapy: Life brings questions about meaning, purpose, and identity. This approach helps you confront those questions honestly, with courage and curiosity, empowering you to live in alignment with your values.
Behavioral Therapy: Sometimes change begins with action. Behavioral therapy focuses on replacing self-defeating habits with healthier responses and behaviors, allowing you to take back control of your life.
Family Systems Therapy: Whether or not you’re currently in contact with family members, this approach recognizes the impact of your family of origin and helps you heal family wounds, change patterns, and form healthier relationships.
Gottman Therapy: For couples, I use Gottman principles to help partners improve communication, rebuild trust, and strengthen connection. This research-based method gives practical tools that lead to lasting relationship change.

My Philosophy:
I believe therapy help happens in a safe, supportive relationship. My goal is to offer a grounded, nonjudgmental space where you can be yourself—no pretense, no pressure. I don’t believe in quick fixes. Instead, we’ll work together to uncover patterns, build on your strengths, and develop tools that help you feel more confident and clear. Whether you’re dealing with trauma, life changes, or relationship struggles, I’ll meet you right where you are.
Therapy is an investment of time, energy, and emotion. I honor that by bringing not just experience and training, but also intuition, creativity, and real care. Our work can help you feel more connected, more resilient, and more in touch with your values and purpose. Growth takes courage—but you don’t have to do it alone.
